Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:45am at 3707 Garrett Rd.
Why we worship
Coming together for corporate worship is one example that Jesus gave us that we can take part in to reach our full potential in Christ. Jesus used gatherings to challenge His audience with the truths about life with Him. These were important opportunities to be exposed to biblical ideas, and to learn and grow in understanding of who Jesus is and what he has done for us. We likewise endeavor to create powerful corporate worship environments where together as a community of faith we can learn more about biblical truth and where we can respond to the truths that we learn with worship and praise to God.
What to expect
What is the service like?
The content of a worship service can vary quite a bit from church to church. Our worship music is a mix of recent songs, as well as hymns with more modern arrangements. You can expect a gospel-centered sermon and we typically preach through books of the bible from beginning to end, with the occasional break for a topical series from time to time. Our services usually last about ninety minutes.
What should I wear?
You will find people wearing anything from sweatpants and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. Most people typically wear "business casual." If you show up in jeans you will be right at home, but wear what you will be comfortable in. We do not want you to wear something that is not you. We want you to be able to relax so you can be free to worship Jesus!
Where do I park?
Our church building and the entrance to our grounds is identified by two big "Cresset Church" signs and is located directly across from the new "Cresset Overlook" neighborhood development. When you enter our parking lot our main building is to the left when you are coming in and our main entrance is marked by the big overhang. You may park anywhere you like, but we have designated handicap and guest parking. If you are a guest we invite you to park in our reserved guest parking!
Where do I go when I get there?
Enter our church building through the main doors underneath the overhang. The doors to our worship center are to the right when you walk in the main entrance, and the bathrooms are down the hall to your left. Make sure you come early enough to get a cup of coffee before worship!
What do I do with my children?
If you have children, feel free to utilize our Cresset Kids ministry for birth-5th grade. Enter through the main entrance and then follow the signs around the worship center, down the hallway to the right to our Cresset Kids area. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of our service to give yourself enough time to check-in your kids, especially if you are a first time guest. For more information about our Cresset Kids ministry please visit our our Cresset Kids page here. If you have a middle or high schooler we invite them to join us in the worship center for worship.
